Vikram’s “Kandasamy” - Blessed by monsoon
The Vikram-Shriya starrer ‘Kanthaswamy’ being directed by Susi Ganesan started shooting on Monday and the shooting is on in full swing now. Monsoon which is playing a spoilsport now in Tamil Nadu has been a blessing for the Kanthasamy team.
The Director decided to save on the artificial studio rain and shoot a scene where Vikram gets wet in the rain with the natural ongoing monsoon. The shooting was held on Chennai’s East Cost Rd. The unit intends to continue this leg for about 15 days before leaving for their overseas schedules in Kenya and Italy.
Kandasamy has probably had the most flashy pre-shooting publicity drive in recent Kollywood history. The costumes for the stars and the support artists of the trailer itself were procured from Bangkok, Malaysia and Italy. Vikram’s father Vinothraj is to play an important role in the film Kandaswamy.
