Vellithirai and Rajini connection
There is no evaluation of Rajinikanth in my movie says director Viji for the movie Vellithirai. It is just a story of an actor who struggles for 18 years and then his dream of becoming a big hero is realized says the director. There are places where they have criticized the movie industry a bit but when medicine, government etc can be criticized then why not the movie industry says the director.
In this movie the actors including Prakash Raj, Prithvi Raj etc will wear the dresses that the actors wore before entering cinema industry. For this he went to the actors houses and collected the dresses says the director. Since Gopika is already an actress in this movie she is the only one who will not wear these clothes.
Vellithirai is a forthcoming Comedy Tamil film produced by Moser Baer, Duet movies and Mirchi movies. Directed by Viji, the cast includes Prakash Raj, Prithviraj, Gopika and Lakshmi Rai. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar. Popular stars Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan Karthik Sivakumar, Sathyaraj, Pratap Pothan and Lakshmi Rai play cameos as themselves.
