Thangar says no to Telugu directors

Director Thangar Bachchan, who is known for making insightful films like ‘Pallikoodam’. This movie went on to become a hit in Tamil. ‘Pallikoodam’ was also exhibited at the recent International Film Festival of Hyderabad and it received great appreciation.

Now many producers from Telugu are approaching him to bag the rights to remake the film in Telugu, but Thangar is not willing to sell the remake rights. He is of the opinion that he has not come across any director in Telugu who can depict the feeling like he had done in Tamil. Many producers even wanted him to direct the movie in Telugu, but since he is not familiar with Telugu, Thangar has refused it.

It looks like a remote possibility for the movie to be made in Telugu.
