Thai Kaviyam movie Launched
Thai Kaviyam was officially launched for birthday boy Pa Vijay at a grand function in Chennai on Sunday.
A special one for ‘Vithka kavingar’ Vijay making his bow as hero, blessed with the well wishes of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and the who’s who of the film industry.
Speaking on the occasion, CM pointed out the parallel in the script of Thai Kaviyam to the one in the MGR-starrer Naam, and recounted the feud between the worker and the zamindar. He mentioned that Vijay’s character is devised on similar lines and he should use the platform to seal his place.Karunanidhi also expressed his confidence that the movie would be shaped well and become a huge hit. He also heaped laurels on Pa Vijay on the occasion.
All roads must have led to the sprawling AVM Rajeswari Theatre on Ayudha Pooja Day, thrown open first time for a film function. The function was attended by prominent film personalities and honchos of Tamil Film Producers Council.
On his part, Pa Vijay thanked the Chief Minister and recalled the rapport that he shares with the CM.
