Srikanth`s Poo with director Sasi
Actor Srikanth’s career graph is looking better this year. He is currenly acting in Ettappan with Navya Nair. He will also be seen in director Susi’s upcoming Poo which is set in a village background. Srikanth will be seen playing the role of a villager and the shooting of the movie is in progress now. He is paired with Malayalam actress Parvathi who is making her debut in Kollywood with Poo.
Director Sasi gave the first break to Srikanth with the movie Roja Kootam. The movie Poo story is based on a short story ‘Veyilodu Poi’ by Tamilselvan. The director has said that he has done a flawless adaptation of the short story and has recieved praises form Tamil Selvan. The movie has music by a debutant S S Kumaran and cinematography is by Sakthi Saravanan.
The climax of the movie Poo is said to be of the similar kind as Uyir and Parthiban Kanavu which is women centric and the hero losses weightage in the climax. The director approched many hero’s with this story but due to the climax no one signed the movie. Srikanth who had just sorted the issues in his personal life agreed to do the movie.
