Six driving schools to come up
Transport Minister K N Nehru today announced that six driving schools will be soon started in the city.
Responding to a query raised by DMK member V S Babu during the question hour in the Assembly today, he said that the six training schools, started in Chennai, would be modelled on the existing driving schools in Gummidipoondi. He said that the training school will be train drivers to handle all types of vehicles. He further informed that the State government will permit Ashok Leyland Ltd and Maruti Ltd to start driving schools. Source: NewsToday
