Shriya Saran the kollywood actress seems to be going places now. From kollywood, tollywood, bollywood and now she has her eyes set on hollywood. She has bagged a role opposite Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse Metcalfe in a Hollywood film ‘The Other End of the Line’. She will play an Indian girl who falls in love with an American boy.
The film, a cross cultural romantic comedy, will be directed by Jimmy Dodson and the cast includes Jesse Metcalfe, Shriya Saran, Anupam Kher, Tara Sharma amongst other Hollywood artists. The film will be released by MGM.The other cast include Larry Miller and Sara Foster.
The movie which has a call centre backdrop will be shot in Mumbai, San Francisco and New York.The film will be produced by tennis player-turned producer Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment and is likely to release next year.
