See Onbadhu Roobai Nottu, No Nottu required
Pyramid Saimira has come up with an innovative idea of promoting the Thangar Bachchan’s movie, Onbathu Rupai Nottu. The company is organizing free shows of the film Onbathu Roobaai Nottu all over Tamil Nadu. The show scheduled at 11 a.m. will be screened at 100 theatres in the state free of cost on Sunday December 9th 2007.
The entry will be free. After the movie, if the viewer likes the movie he can pay as much as he likes by dropping the amount into a hundi placed there. Whatever money is made through this, they intend to give the film’s producer.
The cast and crew of the film, including director Thankar Bachan, actors Sathyaraj, Archana, Nasser, and Rohini were among those who were present in the press meet.
These steps were taken since even though the movie got great critical acclaim, there is no crowd at the theatres. Pyramid Saimira needs a special mention here because they are promoting a movie which they have neither produced nor marketed. Way to go Pyramid!!
