Rajini to act in Balachander movie

Looks like its a treat for Rajini fans. Rajini is going to do two movies next. He is going to act in a quick project by K.Balachander productions to be directed by P Vasu. Superstar is going to do a quickie before he starts Robot. It is said that Rajinikanth has agreed to act in the movie based on the commitment to his mentor K Balachander.

The movie is the going to be a remake of the Malayalam super hit Katha Parayumbol. This movie is a lighthearted commedy of a friendship between a barber and a superstar. There has been competation to buy the remake rights of the movie. According to sources, Kavithalaaya is the front runner and they have signed up Pasupathy to do the role of the barber. Superstar Rajini will plays the role of Superstar. The movie directed by P.Vasu, will have music by Vidyasagar.

The movie will start rolling immediately and will probably release by June/July. Shankar’s Robot will start rolling after the completion of the movie.
