Piragu featuring Mandhiran fame Hamsavardhan, By 2 fame Sunitha and Keerthi Chawla is directed by debutant director Jeeva. Jeeva says, “This story is about a young man hailing from a rural locale to Chennai to make his living. Coincidentally he gets caught in the hands of two gangsters and his life takes a turn for the worse. With the help of Keerthi Chawla he tries to come out of itâ€.
The skilled technicians form the main strength of the movie. Srikanth Deva scores the music, stunts are by Kanal Kannan, art by Remiyan and cinematography is by Kasi Vishwa.
