Passenger carrying pro-LTTE books arrested at Chennai airport
A Kuala Lumpur-bound passenger has been arrested from the airport here for possessing books published by the banned Sri Lankan militant outfit LTTE.
Police said emigration authorities at the airport on Monday night alerted them about the presence of the books with 29-year-old Suresh, a native of Mannargudi in Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu.
He was immediately arrested by the Q-Branch of the state police, which deals with terrorist activities, police said adding investigation is on in the case.
