Nokia Opens First ‘Global Format’ Concept Store in Chennai

Nokia has opened its first ‘global format’ Concept Store in Chennai. Spread over 1850 sq. feet, the Concept Store is Nokia’s seventh outlet in the country and the first in APAC to be made in accordance to the segmentation study conducted by Nokia that categorizes consumers in four distinct segments - Live, Connect, Achieve and Explore.The company said this categorization is based on the impact that lifestyle choices and attitudes have on the purchase decision of mobile devices. The Concept Store will replicate this categorization through separate experience and demo zones to cater to the specific needs of customers in each category.

The Nokia Concept Store in Chennai, which is located at 136, TTK Road, Alwarpet (near Park Sheraton), will feature the latest range of Nokia offerings, including handsets, mobile enhancements and exclusive Nokia merchandise. The store will have an Nseries Experience Zone where the customer will be able to view a wide range of Nokia Nseries multimedia devices. Nokia said the store will provide the perfect backdrop for visitors to experience the latest mobile applications and solutions across business domains. Trained staff will be at hand to help visitors learn about new mobile applications and technologies.

As a market leader, Nokia has taken a lead in addressing the entire spectrum of consumers, be it first time buyers or seasoned mobile users, looking for heightened mobile experience, through the Nokia Concept Stores,” said Sunil Dutt, Director, Sales, Nokia India.

“Our Concept Store will showcase the entire range of Nokia mobile devices allowing customers to experience the true power of mobility through a redefined retail experience,” added Sunil.

With a simple-to-navigate setup, open doorways and low-glare lighting, the store provides a relaxed and satisfying customer experience. The high-tech display terminals and dedicated areas for Imaging, Multimedia, Business and Entry phones make it easy for consumers to bring themselves up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the mobile industry.
