New Releases On The Tamil New Year Day 2007

The much-awaited Mayakannadi (Maya Kkanadi) with Cheran and Navya Naayar in the lead will be released on the Tamil New Yearâ€™s day.
Madurai Veeran starring Jithan Ramesh, Laal, and Saloni will be released 2 days before the New Yearâ€™s Day. This film is directed by Vincent Selva.
On the same day Kaanal Neer directed by Chinni Jayanth and starring new face Riththeesh.
Chennai-600028 a movie based on tennis ball cricket directed by Venkat Prabhu will be released.
Kasu Irukanam starring Sangeetha, Unnale Unnale casting Kajol’s sister Tanisha, Sada and new face Vinay in the male lead.
Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram starring Dhanush and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles.
Naan Avan Illai , Jeevan with his five heroines Sneha, Malavika, Namitha, Jyothirmayi, Keerthi Chawala.
Oram Po starring Arya and Pooja.

The release of many films which did not want to compete with Rajiniâ€™s Shivaji was earlier postponed. But now they have all geared up following the news that Shivaji will be released only during mid May.

So cinema lovers can expect a host of new movies other than those mentioned here to be released for the Tamil New Year.
