Nag Ravi denies piracy charges
Machakkaran overseas distributor Nag Ravi has denied piracy charges saying that he could have made digital versions of Machakaran in malaysia when he went to malaysia on 4th of November.

Nag Ravi is also better known as Sneha’s former lover. When quizzed about what really happened on November 6th night at Devisridevi preview theatre he says that he had arranged for a preview show for his friends at Devi Sri Devi Preview theatre on November 6th night. He adds that it was his mistake to make arrangements to screen the film with an overseas print. Also he switched off his mobile after the incident, which gave the impression that he was absconding. He claims to have been in mumbai on someother work during the missing period.
The biggest relief for Ravi came in the form of the police giving a clean chit to him. According to the police it is not easy to make a pirated CD in the preview theatre and if Nag Ravi wanted he could have made digital versions in malaysia itself very easily.
Now it looks like the Tamil Film Producers Council is also backing Nag Ravi alias Nagarajan Ravi. But according to the sources, some top political persons also involved in this and rescued Ravi from the crisis.
