Mohan escapes from wild elephants

Actor Mohan had a miracle escape from wild elephants when he was returning from Munnar to Chennai after the shooting of his movie Sutta Pazham. They encountered the wild elephants on the road on their way to Coimbatore from where the actor was supposed to take a fight back to chennai.

The movie Sutta Pazham is directed and produced by G Kamaraj of Perusu fame. Subha Punja is playing the female lead. The movie also has Manobala, Livingston, Sharmilee and many others. Camera work is by Maya, music by Sri Ram, song lyrics by Snegan, editing by Rama Rao and dialogues by Kannan.

While returning from the shoot in Munnar on the road at night 11.30 actor Mohan and director Kamaraj were waylaid by the wild elephants on their way to Coimbatore in the car. They stopped the car while remaining seated and put down the engine. But the wild elephants kept walking to and fro on the road and did not leave. After about 2 hours of prolonged wait, the elephants went into the forest and the driver, actor and director heaved a sigh of relief, started the car and returned.
