Mirugam director Samy speaking about his movies says, He has conveyed a good message in this movie. The movie Mirugam when released will create a major uproar. People say that I will get an award for this movie. It is waste to take a movie only with the intention of getting an award.
He thinks that conveying a good message to the people along with a good story is important. Both the heroine Padmapriya and hero Aadhi have done a splendid job in the movie.
He does not want to add anything more to the padma priya issue. Samy hit the headlines ever since he reportedly assaulted actress Padmapriya on the sets for not performing well during the shooting. Padmapriya’s complained against him and Samy was banned from directing films for a year.
