Mirugam certification trouble

Looks like controversy and trouble are the middle name of Mirugam movie and director Samy. First it was the episode with slapping of Padma Priya, then with censor board with Samy demanding a U certificate for the movie and now he is facing trouble with the Animal Welfare Board (AWB).

Sources say that the movie has not been certified yet by the censor board. The censor board has asked Samy to get a clearance letter from the AWB and present it to the censors who will then issue the certification. But without getting this certificate a false news was out that Mirugam got ‘A’ certificate and the preparation for the release of the movie on December 14th was on.

The Animal Welfare Board (AWB) has objected to a Jallikattu (Bull fight) scene in Samy’s Mirugam and has not given a clearance certificate yet. With out the clearance certificate and the movie not getting clearance from Censor Board the movie might not be released this Friday.
