Mammootty in an English film
Fresh from the success of Big B and Maayavi, Mammootty is in the news again. After a very long gap, Mammooty is getting ready to star in an English film again. Titled The Late Night Beggar and directed by S Karthik, the film has the actor enacting the role of a doctor with Rohini playing his wife and Baby Malavika, his daughter in the film. Earlier the Mammo-otty-starrer Ambedkar, a biography on the leader’s life, was released a few years ago. For the English film, the superstar had to really work hard on his Malayalam accent to do the role convincingly and his portrayal of the character was so convincing that he won the National Award for the film.
