Maattuthavani, Pavithran Makes A Re-entry
We all remember director Pavithran who gave blockbusters like Indu and Sooryan in the early 90’s is back after a rather long break. He is directing a movie titled Maatuthavani - yeah the place where the main bus stand in Madurai is located.
The director chose to go with the title Maattuthavavani as movies with Madurai as the backdrop have been doing really well at the box office in recent times.
The action movie based on a story happening in Madurai features new faces and going by Pavithran’s forecast will be ready for release by this August.
I guess Director Shankar ( SIVAJI ) worked as an assistant director to Director Pavithran, so Now it is shankar’s turn to give him a warm welcome by launching him in his home production.
