Karthika the heroine of Naan Kadavul

Nothing concrete can be said about ‘Naan Kadavul’ and the point about who the heroine is, seems to be baffling even the makers of the film.

Naan Kadavul, the film directed by Bala is in the cans for a very long time and has finally started showing signs of picking up with the name of the heroine being announced recently.

The confusion started with Bhavana and more than half a dozen heroines were in question. Prominent were Meenakshi of ‘Karuppusamy Kuthagaikaarar’ and Anjali of ‘Thamizh MA’ fame.

According to latest info received, director Bala has signed on Karthika of Karuvappiah fame of ‘Thoothukudi’. This is surprising since she has not shone much in any of her films, has not acted with any top heroes and her acting has not been spoken about in a big way.
Bala has asked for 120 days of call sheet for ‘Naan Kadavul.’ It seems he has also asked Karthika not to speak about her having been signed on for the film.
Till Karthika actually faces the camera, the question of who the heroine for ‘Naan Kadavul’ is, will still be a question mark!

Now that the heroine is ready, Bala is all charged up to recommence the shooting which will begin in Theni from July 25th. Reportedly Karthika has agreed to all the conditions imposed by Bala which include keeping mum about the film to media, giving call sheet en masse for three months and a promise not to commit to any other film during this period. Let us hope that with the entry of Karthika, Naan Kadavul sprints and finishes soon.
