Kandasamy gets 2 crore in Kerala

The distribution rights for Vikram-Shreya starrer Kandasamy has been sold for Rs.2 Crore. The rights have been obtained by Sibu who earlier obtained the rights of movie like Pokkiri and Anniyan.

Kandasamy stars Vikram and Sherya in the lead role and is being directed by Susi Ganesan. Raghuvaran, Santhanam,
Vinod Raj, Vivek, Y G Mahendran, Arun Mathavan, Vinayak, Alex will also be seen in supporting roles in the movie. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, this film has music by Devisri Prasad.

The most popular Tamil heroes in Kerala is Vikram, Vijay and both the actors movie Kandaswamy and Kuruvi have been sold for 2 and 1.5 crore respectively.

Kandasamy has probably had the most flashy pre-shooting publicity drive in recent Kollywood history. The costumes for the stars and the support artists of the trailer itself were procured from Bangkok, Malaysia and Italy. Vikram’s father Vinothraj is to play an important role in the film Kandaswamy.
