Interim ban on Oram Po release!!
Arya’s much delayed ‘Oram Po’ earlier titled ‘Auto’ in which he plays an auto driver is still waiting to be released.The film is directed by debutantes director couple Pushkar and Gayathri. A Chennai city civil court on Saturday granted interim ban against the release of the film. Chennai financier Mohankumar Jain has halted the release of the film. He asserted that producers Anand and Palanivelu of `A P Garden Films` had taken Rs 15 lakhs loan during the making of the film and had failed to repay the loan.
The film has been completed long back but the film was stuck in the cans as the producers were entangled in a financial mess. Adlabs overtook the film after that and it was scheduled to release on October 12.
This comes as a setback for Arya. If the release of the film is delayed he won’t have any release this year. His last release was Saran’s ‘Vattaram’ released last year which did not do well at the box office. Another film Bala’s ‘Naan Kadavul’ is still in the making.
