Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s father S.A.CHANDRA SEKARAN threats VIJAY TV!

Film personalities nowadays have become highly intolerant people and threaten the media to abort news related to them.

One such actor is Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who has often threatened media people right from the days of his Rasigan. One shouldn’t forget the worst happening for the magazine Kumudam at the time of the release of Rasigan, which was directed by his father S. A. Chandrasekharan. In a review for that film, Kumudam blasted the director for his double meaning sexy dialogues, a mere foreplay of Ilayathalapathy Vijay in a Bathroom with his mother- in-law (Srividhya) and the improper body language etc… Kumudam wrote like this: ‘It is our fate to watch the face of this half - baked hero throughout two and half hours which is totally unfit for cinema!’

On the very next day of the release of the magazine with this review, a gang lead by S. A. Chandrasekharan rushed to the office of the magazine, broke the glass doors, and warned the Editor of the Magazine Sujatha (Writer) to withdraw the comments about the hero in that review. In its very next issue, Kumudam published an explanation like this: ‘Ilayathalapathy Vijay is one of the best and the most beautiful young actor in present Tamil cinema. His appearance and body language, particularly his facial expressions are perfect. It is our fortune to have watched the movie Rasigan!’

After this explanation only, S. A. Chandrasekharan dropped all his strong-arm tactics against the magazine. After this, many such incidents have happened between S. A. CHANDRASEKHARAN and Tamil film journalists. At the time of the release of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Sachien, two Tamil dailies (Dinamani one among the dailies) published some adverse comments about the film. Immediately the PRO got the two reporters of the dailies at S. A. Chandrasekharan ’s residence. S. A. Chandrasekharan scolded them with harsh words and threatened them, asking them to mind their language while writing.
Due to the complaint by S. A. Chandrasekharan only, a film journalist from Daily Thanthi group was dismissed by the administration at the time of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Thirumalai release.

Now there is news about S. A. Chandrasekharan’s latest threat to the media. This time Vijay TV is being targeted by the director.
S.A. Chandrasekaran allegedly issued threats to Vijay T.V. to stop airing its programme ‘Lollu Sabha’ immediately, following its satirical comments about Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s latest film Pokkiri. After watching the programme, S. A. Chandrasekharan summoned the Director Rampal and blasted him directly. He threatened Rampal to stop the programme, otherwise he would stop the supply of the clippings and trailers to the TV channel, using his power as the President of Tamil Film Directors Union. The TV channel has stopped the re-telecast of the programmer and also shifted their theme with immediate effect.
The director of the programme and other technicians were reportedly summoned again to actor Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s residence and forced to apologize in front of him. The TV administration has refused to comment further on the happenings over this issue. The Director acknowledged that he was threated, but he has requested me to ignore the matter.
