Government refuses permission for Rameswaram
Rameswaram is an upcoming film of Jeeva where he is paired with Bhavana. This film is currently being shot in the sea town of Rameswaram. According to the unit, the film is shaping up well and will be ready to hit the screens soon. Meanwhile the crew had decided to erect a cannon set on the shore of the ocean to can a few sequences. But unfortunately permission was not granted by the government.
When the reason was probed it was found out that the vigilance in these areas is very severe these days and a cannon set may give a different kind of picture to the surveillance unit which is likely to trigger unnecessary tension in the town. Hence the crew has shelved the idea and is considering alternate options for the same.
