Fireworks dealers briefed on measures
The Joint Chief Controller of Explosives, South Circle, on Monday convened a meeting of all licensed firework shop dealers and highlighted various safety measures to be followed for safe storage, sale and handling of fireworks during the festival season. Handouts detailing the do’s and don’ts while handling fireworks were also distributed. A slide-show in English and Tamil on safety aspects was also presented.About 65 licence-holders from all over the State participated in the meeting.
