Dasavatharam may not release for Pongal
Kamal Hassan Dasavatharam will not make it for Pongal 2008. According to V Ravichandram of Oscar films who are the producers of the movie, Computer Graphics work in Dasavatharam, and getting a Hollywood-style perfect finish and gloss is taking up a lot of time and hence the delay in releasing the movie.
Once the graphics work on the movie is complete, the release date of the movie will be announced. It is rumored that the date may be around February 15th, the valentines day weekend
An whopping Rs 10 to 12 crore has been spent on special effects of a film Dashavatharam and the special effects have been outsourced to 12 different companies in the world which ensure the availability of latest technology and competition between them to excellent quality special effects.
Kamal Hassan portrays 10 different getups in the movie and it can be safely said that with Kamal’s acting skills he is going to leave us dumbstruck. It’s worth mentioning here that K S Ravi Kumar, the director of the movie has been spending the last 18 months exclusively on Dashavataram.
