Chennai – Trivandrum special train
Southern Railway will operate a special train from Chennai Central to Trivandrum to clear extra rush of passengers.
Train No.0658 Chennai Central – Trivandrum Special will leave Chennai Central at 15.45 hrs on August 14 and arrive Trivandrum at 07.00 hrs the next day.
The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Podanur, Palghat, Ottapalam, Trichur, Alwaye, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganacherry, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam, Quilon and Varkala.
The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
Coimbatore – Chennai Central special train:
Train No.0623 Coimbatore – Chennai Central Special will leave Coimbatore at 23.45 hrs on August 16 and arrive Chennai Central at 08.30 hrs the next day.
The train will stop at Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi Arakkonam and Perambur.
The composition of the train will be 10 Sleeper Class, 9 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

I am from Alan Feldman Public School, Trivandrum. Our students (around 30) of XII std are planning a trip to Chennai. What will be the train fare for them. They are planning to leave Trivandrum on Dec 7th evening and return from chennai on 10th evening. Are they eligible for any concession.
