Bharadwaj To Open A Music School
There are few composers who think beyond film music. One of them is Bharadwaj. There are schools and gurukuls everywhere to teach Carnatic music. But to teach light music?
Music director Bharadwaj has planned to open a music school. This music school is exclusively for light music. Bharadwaj has planned to open this school in collaboration with the open university.
He has planned to name the school Bharadwaj School of Light Music. Entire course will be divided into 3 subjects. Study centres will be set up at 12 places including Chennai, Madurai, Tiruchy, Tirunelveli and Coimbatore.
It may be noted that this is the first time a school is being opened for light music. Those who finish the course will be given the degree – Diploma in Light Music.
