Aruvadai starts rolling again

Aruvadai which was stalled for a while is again back to shooting with the team currently in Kochi filming scenes again. Aruvadai has Mammootty paired with Sneha and is a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam produced by Henry for Pankaj films. The film also stars Arjun as a special branch police officer. Mamta Mohandas plays the pair for Arjun.

The film had stopped shooting for a while because of call sheet problems between the four stars. At a point there were talks of the project being shelved, but the producer can relax not and the movie is back on track.

In the film, Mammootty plays an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, Gopikrishnan married to an airlines pilot Nandini, played by Sneha. Their personal life is unhappy as they are childless. Jai Aakash plays the important character of a ASP in the film which has patriotism laced with family sentiments. Deepak J.D. plays the KD (villain) in this action-family drama.

Vidyasagar is the music director and Rajesh Yadav the cameraman. Lyrics are by Vairamuthu, Pa. Vijay and Yugabharathi. The film is being shot in Chennai, Cochin, Marthandam and Kanyakumari.
