Another star couple Mukesh and Saritha files for divorce, Mukesh and Saritha divorce
Having wowed the viewers with her expressive big eyes, actress Saritha has now filed formally for a divorce.
After falling in love with Mukesh from the Malayalam film field, Saritha married him.
Mukesh has acted in Tamil film ‘Jaadhi Malli’ directed by Balachander. They have 2 sons aged 17 and 15.
Mukesh and Saritha have been living apart for many years. Mukesh lives in Kerala. Saritha and her sons live in Chennai. Mukesh wanted visiting rights with his sons and filed a case. He was allowed a monthly visit.
Saritha filed a case that her husband was torturing her. The case came up twice for hearing, but Mukesh did not put in an appearance. The case will now be heard on 26th and Mukesh has been ordered to appear in court.
Since Saritha and Mukesh have been living apart for years, it is surprising that she has filed a case of torture against him!
Following this, Mukhesh lodged a petition in the Ernakulam court seeking permission to meet his sons. Mukhesh’s petition was taken into consideration and the court granted him permission to meet his sons once a month.
Meanwhile, Saritha approached the family court in Chennai last month seeking for divorce with Mukesh blaming domestic violence. However, Mukhesh did not attend the court proceedings that were held twice. The case was again taken into consideration yesterday - 16/03/07 - for which Saritha was present. Hearing was postponed and Mukesh was asked to be present in the next hearing scheduled to be held on March 26th.
