Amitabh Bachchan returns to work
This is second time that Amitabh Bachchan will be returning to work after a break with a Bhojpuri film. After being away from work for over two months for Abhishek’s wedding to Aishwarya Rai, he will face the camera for ‘Gangotri’. This film is a sequel to his previous Bhojpuri film ‘Ganga’, which was the first film he resumed shooting for after he fell ill last year.
The shooting of the film starts in Film City and will proceed for five days, before Bachchan leaves for Yorkshire and the IIFA awards early next month.
‘Gangotri’ also features Bhumika Chawla, Ravi Kissen and Nagma. ‘Gangotri’ is produced by Deepak Sawant, who has been Amitabh Bachchan’s make-up man for the last 25 years.
