Trisha in token guest appearance
Vellithirai is the movie is based on the tinsel world. The film is a remake of Malayalam hit Udhayannu Tharam. Prakash Raj plays the hero in this movie and Prithviraj as a assistant director. Gopika and Lakshmi Rai play heroines.
In the intial movie, Prithviraj who wants to become a director approches Trisha, who makes a token guest appearance as herself in the movie with a story and asks for call sheet. After listening, Trisha replies that Prakash raj has already acted as hero in this movie, tell me a different story.
Vellitherai is produced by Moser Baer, Duet movies and Mirchi movies. Directed by Viji, the cast includes Prakash Raj, Prithviraj, Gopika and Lakshmi Rai. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
