The first one crore lady in Kollywood

If grapevine is to be believed, Trisha is said to have raised her salary to an astronomical ONE CRORE. Though it is customary for any artiste to proportionately increase their salary as per their popularity rating, this amount demanded by Trisha has attracted a lot of media attention. After her film ‘Stalin’ with Chiranjeevi was declared a hit, she increased her compensation to half a crore.

Subsequently the victory of Unakkum Enakkum made her raise her rate by another ten lakhs making it to sixty lakhs. Now with the success of the latest release Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule with Venkatesh, the lady is said to be demanding one crore for a film.

But it’s not sure if the price tag will hold waters for Dharani’s project with Udaynidi as the producer and Vijay as her co-star. Kollywood has always been conservative when it comes to paying its heroines. Will Trisha be the first to hit the one crore mark; well lets wait and watch.
