The hottest tiding emanating from Mollywood is this: Bollywood heroine, Kajol , is set to make her maiden appearance in a Malayalam movie.

The grapevine would have us believe that the film, titled ‘Heartbeats’, will be directed by Babu Janardhanan.

Incidentally, Kajol is no stranger to cinema in south. Years ago, she made her debut in a Tamil film.

The film, titled ‘Minsara Kanavu’ went on to become a hit as well. But, may be because she was busy in Bollywood, Kajol did not cash in on the success of ‘Minsara Kanavu’.

Now, years later, she is getting an opportunity to parade her formidable histrionic talent in another south Indian film.

Let us hope the second attempt at a comeback in southern cinema would be a resounding success.
