A silent launch for Kallori! Shankar produces Kallori
Kallori started its shooting in Sivagangai at a college campus. After Kaadhal, Shankar joins hands with Balaji Sakthivel for their new project Kallori. The hero is a new face and the heroine is Kadi and Viyapari fame Tamanna. Prodution is by Shankar S. Balaji Sakthivel directs the movie, Joshua Srithar composes the music and camera is cranked by newcomer Cheliyan.
Director Balaji Sakthivel commenced his Kallori without much fanfare on Thursday. The protégé of director Shankar shot to fame directing Kadhal for Shankar’s home production S Pictures.
After almost two years, he has commenced his next film Kallori. Tamanna plays the lead role while a debutant is cast as hero. The entire movie occurs in Sivaganga and as the title suggests it is a campus entertainer. Expectations were high on Balaji Sakthivel’s next venture went soaring ever since the grand success of Kadhal.
The director took his own time to complete the storyline and script. Joshua Sridhar, who composed the tunes for Kadhal, joins hands with him once again for Kallori. It is an emotional potboiler sure to rock the audience, say sources close to Balaji Sakthivel.
Meanwhile, director Shankar is off to Cannes on Friday where his production venture Veyyil would be screened.

I came to know u only Kallori as not as well in ur earlier films in Tamil. I’ve seen the film Kallori more than 25 times due to most of the scenes which I’ve faced in my College days, more over ur acting & simplicity role in film is really fantastic.. I wish to see u in upcoming films as what u have done in Kallori as a wonderful homely look girl..
