25,000 per day for special appearance!!
Special appearance is Rs. 25,000 a day in the movie Peraanmai. No, we are not talking about any actors or actress here, but an elephant who plays an important role in the Jeyam Ravi starrer film Peraanmai. After a extensive hunt for this special apperance the team of Peraanmai have zeroed in on an elephant a couple of days back. The elephant will be paid 25,000 rupees for its appearance plus food and transport.
Followed by the success of his prior films Iyarkai and E, SP Jananathan directs the movie Peraanmai and his friend Ekambaram takes care of camera works. Peraanmai has five heroines but the names of them are yet to be finalised. Akshaya of Kalaba Kadhalan fame was also roped in one of the heroines, but the actress has now decided to opt out of the movie. Jayam Ravi plays a forest officer in the movie and the five actresses act as sports persons.
Peraanmai will be seeing some novel technical stuff like helicopter cameras being used for the first time in Tamil cinema. All the best to the Peraanmai team from Chennai365.
