Padmapriya in award winning director movie

Last year, Padmapriya has won more than 6 awards for her acting in Malayalam films. She got awards for her role in ‘Vadakkunnathan’ with Mohanlal and ‘Karutha Pakshigal’ with Mammootty.
Padmapriya celebrated her birthday recently and as a birthday gift, she has got an opportunity to star in a film to be directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan, who has won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
The story set in 1950s is inspired by a novel by Thakazhi Sivasankaran Pillai who has written novels like ‘Chemmeen,’ ‘Kayiru’ and ‘Thottiyin Magan.’ Adoor Gopalakrishnan has already made a film based on noted author Vaikkom Mohammed Bashir’s ‘Madhilugal’ and won awards for the film.
In this film, Padmapriya has the role of a call girl. “I don’t think my image will be tarnished because I am doing the role of a call girl. I don’t mind doing such a role in Tamil too,” says Padmapriya.
We are also eager to see her in that role!
